Fallschirmsjäger liberates St. Truiden

Unterleutnant Kuery reported: " After the call for paratroopers for St.Truiden liberation, I quickly answered and boarded the JU. After a few minutes flight we were ordered to get ready and then to jump out. Shortly after about 15 troopers landed in direct surroundings of the last building occupied by the enemy. We quickly ran for cover started securing the position killing whatever tried to breach our defenses. About thirty seconds later we claimed the area secure for the gloreh of Axis."
Started Jul 05, 2009 in a German Airborne SMG from Verviers. Ended with 1 kill and 1 capture.
